About 'the hempest'... We produce the finest in handmade hemp bath and hemp skin care products, using quality hemp seed oil in our hemp soaps, hemp lotions, hemp lip balms,hemp creams and our hemp massage oils. We also produce a line of hemp baby care products made especially for baby.

Who are we?  "We"  are Koreann McCready, the creator & producer of our quality products and packaging. Her husband and partner, Bob Kurulok, steals away to his workshop when he's not picking up supplies, delivering orders or completing other tasks on his "to do" list!
We are a small home-based business located alongside a babbling brook in the small West Kootenay city of Trail, BC Canada. We create and hand mix all of our products, and test them on friends and family before they go on the market.
PLEASE NOTE:::::Worldwide market conditions and currency exchanges in the last year have resulted in more prices rising on more products than usual. Commodity prices, fuel surcharges and transportation costs for our supplies have increased dramatically this past year. We have in the past attempted to hold our prices at the same level from year to year, however it has now become impossible for us to continue maintaining the same low prices. We have eliminated the fabric wrapping on our soaps, partly to hold cost increases at a minimum but also because we can no longer find quality fabric that has been manufactured in countries where human rights are held in high standard. For the same reason, we will no longer be producing the milk bath in the hemp fabric bags, nor will we be making the eye pillows and neck pillows. We would like to continue to have the baby gift set in our product line, but may find another way of packaging this item. We will continue to offer excellent quality body care products, made naturally, made in Canada and we thank our loyal customers for their continued support.
