Manufacturer of size reduction equipment for use with industrial hemp and other non-wood products such as kenaf, cotton, flax, straw, bagasse, etc. With hemp, whole stalk from the field (free of contamination such as dirt, rocks, etc.)or decorticated bast fibers can be reduced to 25mm size in a slurry for down stream processing for many end uses. The TORNADO has processed flax and synthetic fibers for the manufacture of currency paper for the US and most other countries, processed cotton for cotton pulp for paper manufacturing, flax for cigarette paper, hemp and straw for molded products, etc. The TORNADO can be followed by a CLAFLIN refiner for a very uniforn fiber for papermaking. The TORNADO can operate in batch mode or continuous mode. One 36" TORNADO will provide approximately 100T/D of production at 4% consistency.
