North American Industrial Hemp Council is a nonstock and nonprofit organization whose mission is:
-Form and establish relationship between every part of the hemp production process and between everybody interested in the industrial hemp
-Develop policies to enhance the stewardship of our lands through the sustainable cultivation, product development, manufacturing and marketing of industrial hemp
-Promote the development of new products and business based on industrial hemp plant
-Foster a better understanding of industrial hemp and their implications for the environment and world's economic development
